Oh i have it in my hands right now, i just cant take a picture cause my digicam got messed i just need to get my hands on some parts and a paint scheme. right now im thinking about making it Gunmetal Black as a general color. Im still Thinking about throwing in a CC but i highly doubt it, it wouldnt fit the design. no windows in this thing but i mainly am making it for lan parties. it can also be put on its side and stay perfectly. It comes with a keyboard but its not possible to plug it in to a PC. FYI the thing weighs a bloody ton i got my hands on two of em, one being empty and it weighs as much as a loaded case Any ideas on what you guys would do with it?

That thing is sweet. You will come up with the best scheme for it on your own, but I suggest perhaps a mini-itx mobo and you could fit quite a bit in there.

Just cause it looks similar to this one http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/sx64/ Dosnt mean this is an Osborne Exec like the one i have, if you mean something else than show me it because i dont see it there. besides, it looks stock and it has a mini Itx in it. By the time im done with it itll be modded and have a full computer in it. Not that i dont respect Mini Itx mods its just...i dunno too easy? Looking at it one way you can take one of those suckers and stick em anywhere. hell i hear the new ones have a built in power supply, wheres the fun in that? In another they' re really expensive... uhh no... oh yea they're really clunky.. uhh no.. Downside is that they're slow as sin, even then you probably wouldnt even use it as a main rig and would probably use it at a Lan party or something... As you lag so horribly and die in Ut2004 Because your vid card cant compete with the guy who has a 9800 pro XT compared to your internal hardware goodness Again good ideas, but IMO just too easy.

| alll the power to yah get out that dremel and drill and start modding, those usb and firewire ports usually are cheap or come with the mobo exactly what kinda of mobo you going to stick in it and for the lcd be careful that it is the same size as the screen thats in there now or you will have a mess on ur hands cause from my own experience cutting plastic with a dremel really smells and also if you plan to cut with the dremel make absolute that you have a pair of glasses or something to protect ur eyes cause i have come close serval time to going to the hospital with plastic in my eye ![]() | ||

This is true, ill definately have to get myself some shop glasses, anyone have any ideas on what kind of Disks for the dremel to use. Ill start work on it this week, actually i was wondering whether the new screen should be either a Playstation Monitor or a 7"Lcd Displaying system info. It will probably come down to what costs lessbut for now im still thinkning if i should do anything special to the side, whether it be a window or a design i still havent decided yet, good news is that its clean (All purpose Vim Spray is awsome) no more real wear and tear. Also for the bottom tray im thinkning about putting an old tire as the bottom (Under the keyboard) to work well for wear and tear when im lugging it on the bus or something(taking the idea from a Jansport Bag) Well thats it for now ive got to get going toodles!
