case built from scratch, need measurement info

I am going to be embarking on something completely new for me in the weeks to come, a case built from scratch made of acrylic and polished aluminum. I was hoping someone had some links to cad drawings of other cases made custom and measurement info for drive bays, psu shelves, and other assorted things. i could measure these myself but if someone else has already done the legwork why do things the hard way?

hmmm.. if you are doing a custom case, couldn't you just make them however you want?

Unless you are just building your own version of a chieftec dragon case....

the case will be unique but by studying other peoples designs i can pick and choose what elements i like and incorporate them with my own designs
