Ok, this is my first mod. well actually second. last one i was working on i got mad and beat to death with a 2 iron. got my hands on an Antec Performance 2 case. The thing with this case is that i am building it for my wife. Desinged for her by her, crafted by me. Do not have components yet but they will come after the case is done. Things that will be done.

1. Sand it down.
2. Paint (wife is still deciding on colour)
3. Cut custom shaped window
4. Cut Top exhaust
5. Paint front (need to know good way to paint front of case. the plastic)
6. Sleave the PSU (350w Antec PSU, low W but not being OC'ed)
7. Buy components and install.

Named "Happy Wife" because i hope she is happy when it is all done. First pic is of case before i sand it. Will maybe sand it later tonight or sometime next week.

p.s. please excuse the mess in picture. i am moving this week and next so everything is in the "boxing" process.

Oh yeah, as i come along on it if you guys have any suggestions or see something that would look cool let me know. always like other opinions.

For the front bezel I've heard vinyle dye works great on plastic.
Good luck on the mod. Hope it turns out.

vynal dye works great on plastic, however it does not come in a wide variety of colors to my knowledge. but there should be the basic colors. I dyed my cd rom black and my old mouse. works great.

just out of curiousity where you originally from rev? im guessing Canada. "colour"

to further that you could add a tv tuner to it so she can watch soaps and opera

Not unless it gets ballet or classical chanels. wife works and is a ballet dancer.

actually i am from Texas born and raised. dont know why i use colour, armour etc. all. i guess i jsut always have.

Find out what she likes and maybe paint some sort of mural on it.........just a thought.

she is gonna let me know what all she wants on it. i think something like hibiscus flowers or something. kinda a tropical theme. keep colours light, maybe do a water window. speaking of that. do you have to make water windows or can you buy them somewhere?

You can buy them....but if I remember correctly they are made case-specific and are expensive....
