Default Various Dimensions

So finding dimensions for standard things like a 5.25" optical drive, a 3.5" hard drive, ATX power supply etc... My point is there is not sheet with just the dimensions along with where the screw mounts go, you have to read some 100 page pdf document which I just don't have time to do. Anyway if anyone knows where they are published or if you want to put em all up, please I would appreciate it.

Well, hard drives are pretty standard, but CD drives and PSU's can be different sizes. If you need the specs of one, you should be able to find the specs at the companies website.

how can 5.25" drives be different if they all have to fit in the same slot?

The height, width, and screw holes are going to be the same across all drives but the depth changes between different drives. Same exact thing is true with ATX power supplies.

True but they still should have to conform to some kind of maximum depth for both the optical drives and the Power supplies. But we are digressing a bit, point is there should be a document with the dimensions of all these kind of things, without having to read a bunch of other unnecessary crap.
