you should brainstorm a small business plan. Makeup a startup budget, what you can offer, what could you do, etc. Ebay might be good but it could be costly and it's sometimes hard to promote your product.

But before we all get ahead of ourselves, do you mind posting pics of some of your work?

I've always wondered how best to go about this. It must be tricky. The average consumer isn't going to appreciate most of what modders do; they just want the bundled operating system and software. And people who are interesting in this sort of thing are either browsing these forums or making their own.

First of all, I want to see what you are selling, Vaughn.

Simple. craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums

I would suggest getting a name for yourself as a modder before attempting doing mods for money. I don't know how good you are as a modder, so the first thing you could do is make some small and clean mods for your friends, nothing too fancy, start small with common mods (blowholes, case windows, wire sleeving etc) While you get somewhat known move on by offering paintjobs and more complex modifications. As to the selling, the best option would be of course maintaining your own website where you could list all the things you can do as well as prices and stuff. Ebay is always an option but then the people don't really know what they're buying (you can always make a mod look good on the pics, hiding minor imperfections)
