Anyone good with LED's?

Hi. Sorry to trouble you but if you know anything about LED's you could help me out here. I've got a project going and i had a little idea when i was taking the I/O and card bay off an old Pc. The idea is simple, but the application when you haven't done anything like this before, isn't.
Basically, do you think this'll work? And if so, what LED's would be best, and where should i place them for the best effect? Oh, and by-the-way, I would like them to be white to go with the rest of the mod.

Someone i know that is good with Led's is Twizted i would give him a shout or pm him.

Good? Twizted freakin eats LED's for breakfast. Then he spends 2 hours on the toilet reading magazines and craps out new uses for LED's. Yeah, he's good.

I did something similar to that foil idea in my Offspring Mod. Have a looky if you're interested (in my Sig)

I do love things with LEDs :-)

Nice one! Just checked that link to your mod, Ace, it does work then. Does this wiring diagram look good to you to run it off the 5V line with these LED's?(Maplin > 3mm Superbright White LED

This a tad new to me so any and all help is really appreciated. A motorcycle wiring loom is nothing compared to this.

That looks correct except you will want to use 56 or 68ohm for peak performance. 82ohm would be very dim.

Thanx Twizted. I just needed to be sure. Buy-the-way, i have to say Dragonmodz is very cheap compared to the U.k. shops. Those Ultra bright LED's were about Ã‚Â£1.45 over in Maplin's.

As far as I know we have some of the cheapest if not the cheapest price on loose super bright LED's...
