92mm fans and hole saw size?

I botched the back of my case dremeling the 80mm fan hole, so I'm going to try and recover and make it bigger for a 92mm fan. What is the size (in inches) of the 92mm fan diameter?

92 mm is 3.6". So 3.5 hole saw is your best bet. But 3 and 3/8ths would be good too just not as common.

I used a 3.5" holesaw and it worked out just fine .... but that might be a tough guide for an existing hole (I don't think my paws would be quite steady enough.)

Ya, if you already have a big hole there, you might need to clamp the panel to a board or something, so the pilot bit has something to grab...

unless you use a drill press, then you just clamp the case to the press and your good to go, (assuming you have a drill press)

OR...
cut the hole square, hole saw a piece of 1/4" plexi, this time to fit the 80mm fan

...then light the plexi with those really bright LED's from and mount the Plexi and fan to the case!!
