Default Hows my air-flhoe?

Here is a mock layout of my airflow. It has 6 fans, 3 in, 3 out. They are all the same type of fan CoolerMaster Neon Quad Led Blue. Running at 2500rpm and 32.11cfm I think Im pushing enough air through. Oh yeah, each fan is rated 25dba

The reason Im asking is because my case temp doesnt want to go below 30`c. Is that high? I just installed the middle intake (directly underneath top blowhole) fan today!

how about another intake right on the video and all other cards.
those seem to cool down that area quite well for me. common, but efficient.

That looks fine to me except that the bottom is going to suck in alot of dust if you have your comp on a carpet. Also, ,if you want a fan on the bottom at least put it underneath the vid card so that gets extra airflow instead of in the middle where there isn't anything. I would just put one on the side panel instead though...that way you get both sides of the card and some of the mobo.

Of course, the easiest way to get your temps down is to just get your ambient a little lower. Also, try running it with the case panel off and the temps should drop about 2 degrees....at least mine do. (If you don't install any fans on there).

Another thing to consider is many mobo temp probes vary and are limited to measuring a single spot of the case. The best way to get temperature readings from inside a case is to just use a good digital thermometer and measure different parts of your case with it. That will give you a very good idea of how effective your case cooling is and where you need more circulation.

If you can put a fan in the side of the case I think it would work better then the one in the bottom. If you have a hign end graphics card you know it creates lots of heat so a fan blowing on it would help dissipate that heat. But it you really need to put a fan in the bottom make sure you get a fan filter to keep all the dust out and make sure has case was proper ground clearance so it can intake enough air. Also I would recommend a fanbus because you will want to turn down all those fans.

A fanbus to turn down fans only putting out 25dBa?
By the looks of it his case seems to be hot enough as it is anyway....so don't waste your time dude. Unless you have some fans putting out over 37dBa, you don't really need a fanbus or baybus unless you want to tidy up your wires.

He is goin to have 9 plus fans in his case including..cpu..psu..maybe northbridge...25 dbas is still goin to be noticeable..you can get fanbus's for good deals and they make the front of your case look better...your call.

When CoolDrive 4 comes out at the end of September, Ill have my fanbus/hd cooler. The two intake fans are spliced to each other, red to red and black to black. Same with the two intake. My motherboard has 4 3pin fan sockets, 1 for cpu and 3 for whatever else you want. So the intake, top and ehaust are connected to mobo. I dont want to add a fan on the side panel, I think they are ugly. I might add one directly underneath the vid card as that will be the only card Ill have.

The one on the bottom does to good airflow since I cut a hole on the nightstand that it sits on . It has an aluminum grill under case, mesh filter on top of that and finaly a chrome grill on to pof the grill for purdy looks. I think the second bottom fan will look really good. I prolly wont need my cold cathode as these light my rig up pretty well.

You case temp still might not go under 30. This time of year mine is never under 30. Probably because ambient is generally 30-31.

Try this though. Measure your case temps with the set-up you have now. The reverse the rear fans to bring air in instead of exhausting it. I think you will see a drop in temps. The blow hole and psu will exhaust well enough. And if you keep the air flow balanced toward the positive pressure side, temps should be lower. And you will have less dust build up as well.
