Default water cooling am2

do i need a different water block then a 939 because i really want to find out because no sites offer a am1 block? or am i just blind thanks

939 blocks won't work due to different mounting (939 uses 2 holes AM-2 uses 4 holes)

thank you and this is my first wc set up do i also need a special case to mount the stuff in ? or what cases do you recoment right now i have a thermaltake xeaser 3 lanfire and i loove this case is it usable o just not a good case for wc

No, if you order a new block from danger den they will ship with the new universal top which will work with both socket 939 and am2.

I really like the the original coolermaster stacker. You can buy the danger den stacker shroud that will allow you to mount a black ice 2 in the bottom very nicely.
