Default Antec Vcool?

hey everyone i have a ATI RADEON X 850 PRO with a ZALMAN VF900 CU. I want some more air circulation down in that area since all my fans are circualting air right above the card and nothing below. Does anyone have The ANTEC VCOOl. And if so how did it work for u and did it make a difference. I have read reivews on this but every review there was. They only had stock heatsinks on the gpu. So im wondering if this would even help my ZALMAN VF900CU.

k im getting the blue one with leds. So does it really pump out enough air to make a difference. i wotn be putting it right up against the video card like i have seen i will be putting it near bottom of case. I just want somthing to move air up from the bottom.

yup, thats the same one i have ... the one with the blue leds
but i do have it right next to the card so that it blows directly into the vid car fan ....
i dont know if it will "vent" but it will sure move air inside the case, just make sure you dont remove the extension that comes with it so that it centers the air inside the case ... i took mine off to aling it properly but for the reazon you're getting it, is better of leaving it as is ... plus, is only 20$

k i installed all fine and everything. But i was feeling air between 2 cards and id id one of the dumbest things ive ever done. My Zalman heatsink blade was spinning and cuaght my finger nail breaking one of the blades off. IM wondering if this will hurt the fan down the road. THe thing is now im getting better temperate and more rpm lol. And the fan isnt off balance at all since it is so light.

this is quite odd .... for what i've read in this forums before,.... when someone happens to break a fan blade ussually the temps worsen ..... causing the need to replace the fan .... but hey , of is working fine i'd probably just leave it as is ( unless one of the more experienced users wants to shed some light ??? )

It has to be causing some balance issue wether you see it or not. Just make sure your using your temp monitoring software and have the allarm set. It may run forever like that or it may burn a bearing after some use. Good luck!

yes now that i feel around my case and on video card ther is a noticable vibration. So i turned the fan down to 1600 rpm and the vibration goes away. I downloaded monitoring software and alarm. And even if that fan fails i still have the ANTEC VCOOL running below it full speed. And there is no difference wen i run the gpu heatsink on high rpm or low rpm, it still stays at same temperature. So im going to leave the gpu heatsink fan as low as it can go and ANTEC VCOOL AS HIGH as it can go that should even it out.

I figured there would be some vibes. That's never good for the card. Good job in checking it out and resetting the rpm's. Glad I was able to have something useful to say for once. Have a good one Bro! By the way, when ya gonna start folding?

http://folding.stanford.edu/

This explain the concept. Team PR has come together to work with F@H and produce as many WU's (Work Units) as possible. As you read on the web site, F@H helps to find cures for many of todays life cripling illnesses and gives us a chance to do our part and make a small donation in the way of using our rigs to help in running the programs. We have the Team PR and then quite a few sub-teams which fold under Team PR or you can fold, as i do, on your own and work your way up throught the F@H and Team PR statistics. Actually pretty cool and competative while helping others at the same time. Check the Forum..... http://forums.pcapex.com/team_pimprig_f_h_and_more/ to learn more and to download the program.

and to all those who moan about , this is for a good cause!
