| Ok, here's the situation: I live in Oklahoma, the room my rig is in has no air conditioning, and it's in the middle of the summer. As you can see, it can get pretty humid here, and with no adequate cooling for the room, it can get pretty muggy. The only thing that's cooling my rig are two piddly little case fans that came with my case, and they seem to be barely working. They work, I just think they're not doing a good job. So the time has come to get better cooling fans. So my dad bought five Cooler Master blue LED 80mm case fans from newegg, with a rotation speed of 2500rpm, and about 32 cfm of airflow. I was thinking that might not be enough, and I prefered five Y S Tech 80mm case fans, because they have a rotation speed of 3700rpm, and about 48 cfm of airflow. My dad told me that it wasn't necessary to go for the Y S Tech fans, because five of the Cooler Master fans would be more than adequate to giving my case fans adequate cooling. I'm not trying to be greedy, It's just I want to be able to give my rig the proper cooling it needs and deserves. So my question is this: Will five Cooler Master case fans be enough, or would the Y S Tech fans have been a better option? I am willing to tolerate the noise. And if the Y S Tech fans are better, I can always buy them later. Thank you for your time, fellow pimps. Peace out. | ||

| I hear ya chris200177, this year has been hot. The 5 coolermasters are plenty. The fans only supply air at room temperature to your comp so if your ambient is hot to begin with the comp won't cool down beyon a certain point. Here's what you can do in you room besides airconditioning. You can move your comp room to the basement where it is much cooler. Have a floor fan or tower fan circulating air near the comp. This will help reduce the humidity a bit and the air flow in the room will be better. | ||

| the 5 case fans should be more then whats needed but if your a cool freek go with the ys tech fans. And if your still not happy try to tackle whats causing heat inside the case for example the CPU if you want/or have some extra money for a heatsink look into the thermalRIGHT line they should lower some of the heat inside your case pretty cheep heatsinks at www.svc.com **notice thermalRIGHT instead of thermalTAKE** | ||
