| Nuff said, i need to air this thing out! My CPU at idle WITH Arctic Silver Ceramique is 119 F :-(. With the Radiosh!t stuff I once saw 150 on a Duron 850 :-/ so anyway what is the best thing out there? I went to a show and they had this thing called the Tornado, I swear you could have mounted this on the ceiling as a ceiling fan, if it had wings it would begin to pitch up and fly about the room like a fighter jet. Two of these things would have boosted my top end on my road bike to Bonneville Salt Flat leveIs (wait....they already are without the fans ) I don't care about noise, with gobs of power comes gobs of noise (look at the Ferrari 312P, pure opera ), so I don't care if it sounds like a jet engine, all I want is max CFM, I want this thing to fly around the room when I'm done. Green, White, and Purple LED's are extra brownie points ![]() Last edited by j-dogg; 23-July-03 at 02:42 AM.. | ||

| What's your ambient temperature where you live? those are some high as hell temps. Uhhh well basically you could and should go with 120s. Get high output ones that will range in the 40 dB area and those will have a high CFM. I think that's better than getting a Delta 7k screamer but noise is up to you. If you really want you could just get like a bunch of those and use them all as case fans...might lose your hearing though | ||

| I live in Florida. It's on average about 90 degrees out here, and my room is 76-82 hottest room in the house, seems to have something to do with my room facing the west, at night it's kinda hot in here because of the sunset, it heats the room up.Thanks for the help guys, I might go with a pair of Sidewinder 120 MM, the ones that have 190 CFM, I'll add them to the top for exhaust, and maybe one in the front, still not sure with what exactly I'm gonna do with the front, it will involve fans though. | ||

| You mean these? http://sidewindercomputers.com/delffb1212eh.html Jesus man 190 CFM...you must want to suck the components right out of the case. Hmm 59 dBa.....hope you don't mind a jet parked in your room cuz thats just whats its gonna sound like. Problem is at 24W, good luck finding a fan speed controller for those babies. Its hardcore though, I'll give you that much. | ||
