Default Notice a trend?

We have all seen it, gaming computers started as a white box. If you where lucky somewhere on this beige masterpiece there would be a spot for a 60mm fan.

Then things changed a bit, computer cases with flower windows came about and the all too commin bubble lights. Most of these cases had mounting points for at least 6 x 80mm fans. And in alot of these cases(no pun intended?) CCL was in it, there was not an option not too.

Now with the cases that have been released over the past 4 months or so I have noticed that there is starting to be a movement, blending the best of both worlds.

In other words, big fans, low noise, moddest designs and no flashy light...and damn am I happy!

My case has 1 x 120mm fan exhuasting the air out, and thats plenty! And I go to lans to see un-overclocked computers with 200watts of power drian in LED fans and CCL's.

Am I the only one who has noticed this trend?
Are you happy with this? ( i know I am)

And I guess the real reason why I made this post, what do you think is most important in a case.

List 3 things!

EXAMPLE:

- - Low Noise
- - Aluminum
- - Tooless

I just recently found out it's dangerous to get what you want from a case. I found nothing to really mod in terms of function!

Biggest things for me as as follows:
120mm fans
plain sides (not much mesh/pre installed windows)
and a flat front bezel face.

I would say looks are important. How well it blends in with it's surroundings.
Number of harddrive slots and are they cooled.

I like the same. Cases with a curved front are a pain to work with. High CFMs are a must.

List 3 things!

-Appropriate size (neither too small and cramped, nor too big so cables don't reach)

-120mm cooling capability

-Understated design. It's MY job to make it look cool, not yours.

I like a....
1. Not to big not to small
2. 120mm fan mounts (For extremely high CFM talking like 4x 70CFM fans)
3. Designed to look clean

since i haven't found any cases like that to date, i'm designing my own, the ultimate blank canvas.

the more fans the better, i dont care about noise, music is too loud or games

as many HDD slots as possible and with as much internal fans for the HDD rack
