Default Ideas for the summer?

Hi i need ideas to cool my cpu down for the hot summer. Its going to be at least 100 here in California. Right now my CPU Temp is 55-56 and my case temp is 41. I dont care about nose i just wanna get them both down as far as i can so i overclock it more. So far i O/C my 1600+ to a 1900+. I know i can get more but stability sucks. ive gotten it to at least 2ghz. Any suggestions on new fans for the CPU?
Thank You

first what kind of heatsink do you have? and if your looking for a new heatsink i would sugest one from the ThermalRight line up.
http://svc.com/soca4cool.html
i would sugest the sk-7, slk-800, or the slk-900 depending on how much cash you have laying arround

next the fan.
there are many good ones, thermaltake smart case fan 2, or a Panaflo, Sunon , heard good things about the YS Tech Fans too
http://svc.com/80x25mmfans.html

www.svc.com has the best prices for heatsinks right now.

If you have the cash, go for that vapochill unit BA reviewed awhile back. Thats some awesome cooling, or some cheaper watercooling....

But for air cooling a SLK-800(thermalright) w/ a smartfan2(thermaltake) is the way to go..

First get your case cooled down or even the best heatsink won't work well. Cutting a blow hole or installing a side fan or both is a good idea. You can also replace current fans with more powerful models. A tornado fan for instance will move 3 or 4 times the air of a standard fan. It is loud though, too loud for me without a fan controller. If you're willing to mod your case a 120mm will move as much air as a high output 80mm and be MUCH quieter.

If noise isn't an issue, Vantec, Delta, YS tech, Panasonic and Sunon all sell quality high output fans. If you do decide to replace your heatsink, there is only one choice right now. Like the boys said....Thermalright. Put a Delta or Sunon screamer on a SLK-900 and you'll have the best performing air cooling solution currently available on the planet. It will also work well with much quieter fans.

Or my favorite compromise for a little quiet, use a fan controller. Sunbeam makes a good one. Then you can buy some piece and quiet when your just surfing the web.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, with my Computer on, and my office upstairs, living in Florida and it is now summer, my office will reach 90 deg with the A/C on!
OUCH!
I thought of many solutions, last year I cranked my A/C but the bill was HUGE! and the rest of the house was freezing.
This year I got a better idea, I bought a window A/C unit just for my office. It cost 99$ at home depot. and cut that over 4 months of last years elect. bill, I love it! It also makes the CPU run at 22C. Big bonus

Got a similar thing going on here Duck , I bought a window unit A/C for $88@Home Depot and my computer room is a chilly 70F and my awsome CPU temps are:
2.4GHz P4 @ 28c idle, 34-38c load using a Swiftech MCX4000 with 120MM(70CFM) fan thanks to a wonderful 80MM to 120MM fan adapter

Your CPU is really 22c Duck? on water or air cooling?

As far as an HSF talem I suggest you get a Thermalright SLK-800:
$34@BestByte.com
$32@KDComputers.com
$38@Newegg.com
At any of those three sites you can grab a 40CFM fan or better; which you'll need for the SLK-800.

My Disclaimer: Any links on products I post are to sites I either have bought from or have checked on at ResellerRatings.com, I would not want to steer anyone wrong.

No volcano7+ dood. Even all copper, they are inefficient, cool like crap compaared to any top names out there, the swiftech hellioid design hsf, or the SLK-800 40+CFM fan like tekx said are the best air cooling solutions out there. Im still kicking myself for buying a thermaltake hsf..volcano9 w/ ducting mod, without that mod, I wouldnt have decent temps.

You guys are missing one simple solution. It ain't pretty, but take your side panels off. That should help.

Slider, your airflow should be better with the panels on. If you have them off then that shows that something is wrong.

Of course if you wanna mount a box fan onto the side...

if you don't care about noise, get a Thermalright SLK-900 and stick a 92mm vantec tornado (119cfm) fan on it.

Case airflow is what your need i suggest cutting a blowhole, or getting some more powerful case fans.

i moved my computer into the basement to avoid high temperatures during the day. and thanks to wifi i didnt have to run more wire. how much better is the SLK-900 than a zalman? with a quiet fan.
