| I wouldnt worry about it unless you are pumping 3.5 volts into some BH-5 type memory. Most commercial heatspreaders are for cosmetic purposes, and to prevet damage to the chips from nOObs, if anything they tend to trap heat... For instance, my GSKILL PC4800 did not come with heatspreaders, and this ram is rated to run at DDR600 speeds at 2.7v! If your case has adequate ariflow and they are not hot to the touch, then you are fine. What temps did you get BTW, that might be helpfull ![]() | ||
