2 birds with one post

Ok, two somewhat related questions here.

I'm doing the same watercooling setup (parts atleast) that jhoop is doing. I'm going to be powering the peltier (80W) off of the same PSU that my system is going to be running off of. I'm not totally sure yet just how high the Wattage demand is going to be for the system but Im going to take a stab at saying in the 400-420W neighboorhood (including the pelt) I'm wondering which PSU I should get between the Antec True Power 480 or the True Power 550. I'm leaning towards the 550 just because I want some room to grow and I would like it so that the PSU is not being taxed. Is this overly overkill?(I think I'm being just a lil paranoid about the PSU, the larger of the two is only $12.00 more) . I don't want the PSU whch ever one I get to be generating any more heat and noise than necessary. Anyone know how much louder the 550 is compared to the 480?

Also, with that said I was wondering what amount of airflow in the case I should be aiming for. I've got a LL PC70. I plan on getting some mounting brackets made for the back of it to mount the chiller and radiator on the outside of the case so as not to introduce any more heat to the inside.

For an 80W Pelt, you will be fine with the 480. But like you said, if you want to grow, go with the larger one. They have about the same noise level.

If you got good airflow now, then no changes should be necessary.

I am building a sick new PC, and i am going with the 480, i know that the 550 is better, but I like the tru blu!
