| Apex Elite Tech  |  i think i've seen this thread before but what the hey.... 2400+ 160X13 antec lanboy case just 2 case fans highest temps ever (prime95 all day) except for the HD which was from a defrag..... cpu 109f - 42.7c case 80f - 26.6c hd 89f - 31.6c / 114f - 45.5c before the hd cooler this system hasn't seen a summer yet...... EDIT: as for the Diode question below i'm not so sure about mine, running full bore with prime95 it jumps all over the place from 89f up to 123f in a seconds time Last edited by Buzz_4_20; 16-April-03 at 09:50 PM.. | |

Diode, socket, bios,or other? 2100+ B @ 2400+ (166x12) Chieftec Dragon 5 case fans (2x front intake, 1x side intake, 2x rear exhaust) Prime95: CPU (diode) - 54C CPU (socket) - 41C Case (Asus 3) - 29C I've actually had to back down the OC because it's been getting hotter outside & I didn't like where my temps were heading. Is that CPU temp (from the diode) too high considering it idles at 39-41C? | |

| H2-Hoe  | Yup, right now at idle: XP2100+ @ 2.28 Gig WaterCooled Ehiem1048 Tank-o-Matic Maxxpert Rad Rev3 on CPU 80watt Peltier Chiller sandwiched between a Maze3 and Alpha PAL8045 witha 120mm Sunon fan. Ambient 28C Case from External Probe 29C Sys MBM5 35C CPU MBM5 35C CPU climbs 2C under load. Never seen it over 40C all week. Still tweeking the chiller. | |
