| In_fact flat ribbon cables are easier to hide and are easier to throw away when you ruin them if your a cable cramer. Rounded cables are really nice to look at if you can hide psu wire and or if you have a plex case and are unable to hide them. As for air flow they really don't do to much I haven't noticed any changes in temps since I went to rounded cables but they look better and may flow air a bit better so it all comes down to do you need them or do you want them. | ||

| Round IDE's do an awful lot towards cooling, especially if you have connectors in odd places on your mobo (RAID, PCI Card bus) it also saves floding ribbion cables ( which can be very time consuming) whereas with round cabes you can cram them into small areas hidden away from view. | ||
