| i need a case with dual 120mm fans on the back so that i can mount a danger den dual 120mm heater core on it and put fans over it... i have a xaser 3 now and i really really really dont want to part with it, but if i got a new case it would give me a chance to do some of my own modding, as well as get a big rad. does anyone know if one like this exists, and if so where i can get it. also, preferably aluminum but its not required | ||

| Good luck. I've never heard of any mid/full tower case that comes standard with dual rear 120mm fans. The only kind of cases that might have them or would have room for you to put them would be cubes or large server cases, otherwise you'll have to do quite a bit of modding, especially taking into consideration the additional width, height, and depth of a heatercore that will have to fit. I think your best bet would be finding a case that will fit that size HC in the bottom front, rather than the rear. | ||

| ya ur prob right, but i really cant find one that fits it in the front either... the thing is freaking 11 inches tall... it would take a hard drive cage like 7+ hard drives tall to fit it (once the cage is removed), and i would have to find a way to get lots of air in the front... sigh i might have to stick with getting a dual 80 like i planned | ||

| You can mod an Antec 1040 chassis for that-that means your Xaser can be done that way. My recommendation? Look up the Chrome Illusion case in the galleries, and see how the HDD is mounted-it'll show you what you can do as alternatives. I'm floating a mirror-polished Seagate like that in my new case right now. | ||

| That LiteOn may be your best bet; as |Anonymous| says, there aren't many that come that way stock. Just for another idea, if you want a mod project with lotsa potential, what about a Yeong Yang cube case? It's intended to have two 92mm fans in back, but there's some clearance all around both fans -- looks like it might have room for two 120's if you wanna dremel out holes. And the split, "2-room" layout of the chassis would be ideal for having your PC parts on one side and your radiator & reservoir on the other. YY cube with two 120mm top fans (mod), four 80's on rad (More pics of this case) Another modded YY Bit-Tech's "7 of 9" YY: ![]() | ||

| How 'bout this one with SEVEN 120mm fans? The cases come in black, red, or silver, and start at $265. http://www.mountainmods.com/cases.htm ![]() ![]() | ||

| You might have a hard time finding the Lite-On. Great case, but in short supply lately. If you want to stay with a tower rather than a cube, the Chenbro Genie (SR-104) is another case with more than enough room for dual front 120's. And a bit easier to find. The AMS 1009 has the room, but would take some major modding to make it look good. | ||
