| Ok so heres the thing. I need to be able to put a hdd in a 5.25 bay and have some sort of fan to cool it, while holding it in place. Maybe this would work: See the thing is im not sure what will work and what wont. I would like to avoid spending more money then I have to. | ||

| Here's something from CoolerMaster that will work: http://www.coolermaster.com/index.ph...3CoolDrive%203 or maybe this, with more bells & whistles: http://www.coolermaster.com/index.ph...4CoolDrive%204 | ||

Well, if you want cheap you could go with a pair of 3.5 to 5.25 adapter rails. Like 3-4 bucks. And a cheap hd fan, as little as $5. Only problem with hd coolers are the small and or thin fans have a short life-span. If you have a second 5.25 bay available I'd go with adapter rails and a twin turbo cooler. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I recommend the rails and the hd cooling fan too - neither will be more efficient at cooling than the other so save some bux and go the cheap route. No one will be able to see it anyway and if your case isnt white (I hope it isnt) then that white hunk o crap will have to be painted.....more trouble than its worth in my opinion. I read somwhere that a plain 80mm cooling fan in a hard drive cage is the best air cooling by far - maybe if you have room at the bottom of your case you could rig something up. | ||

| Ok well i got the HDD rails at my local comp store adn was also able to score a connector for the little hsf i have for my SB. As we speak one rail is out in my garage drying (put some glue along with screws to hold it in place). Hopefully it will work out great. | ||
