Default Good case fans?

Ok now that I've decided to go with an SLK-900 and a 92mm aluminum fan that pushes 37CFM @ 26dbA on my CPU. I'm wondering if I should go with the same type of fan throughout my case or go with somthing different?

That's the fan that's going on the CPU BTW.

I'm looking for something quiet with a nice CFM rating and those aluminum fans are looking pretty danged attractive.

Unless you're going to drill your own fan holes, the size of fan you should use will be determined by the size of the holes on your case. Check the fan holes in your case. If they're 80mm, go for the 80mm fans. If they're 92mm go with the 92mm fans, and so on.

If you are going to drill your own fan holes, 92mm is a good size. A lot of people use 80mm because that's the standard size on most cases. 120mm pushes a lot of air, but those are usually noisier and take up a space.

Awesome. I have a whole crap load of fan slots in my case...thing suuports 8 fans stock plus what ever I decide to cut holes for.

I've got 7x80mm slots and 1x92mm slot. Although I need to order a mounting kit for my case still but I'm going to get a 500w Raidmax soon, after that I'm going to get all my cooling stuff. I'm just making sure my case has the best this time. My old case had 10 fans and was louder than hell and sucked becuse it was so small all of the fans I had in it screwed the airflow of the case. With my SuperMicro this thing is big enough to have this many fans without screwing the airflow in the case so things should work out great this time.
