Supreme commander freezes during LAN game

Hi Everyone,
I would appreciate a little bit of help. I have recently started playing supreme commandor on LAN with my two house mates. Everything runs fine until an hour and a half into the game. Then the play freezes. You can still move around the map and scroll in and out. YOu can stil select units create queues to make units. Basically everything works apart from nothing moves. Sound still works as well. I ahve tried going back inot windows to see if the game was still running and it was. It has happened both times we have played for more thana hour and a half.
I haev a 780i SLI intel motherboard. A 8800 GT GPU and a E8400 dual core CPU. It is not running hot and i have just reformatted my computer with a fresh image of XP pro. My house mates are running similar machines.
Any help would be appreciate as i keeps freezing just as we get th the stage of wiping out the enemy.

I would asume you are playing against bots. Playing against each other should not bog you down. When playing against bots that puts a high load on the CPU.
I would try changeing who hosts the game first. Next I would bring the maxium units built down. That is if you are playing with the max 1000 units. Bring it down to 750 and try among you who to host. I very rarely build over 500 units against ALX (Cheating AI)Posted 27-July-08 at 12:44 AM by Lokie

another thing to check, is to make sure you have the most recent patch for the game. this may be a known bug with the gamePosted 30-September-08 at 10:14 AM by THRiLL KiLL
