I have made some arrangements for a deal with GameDaemons.net for a dedicated 40 Player PimpRig/Uberw00t Battlefield 2 Ranked server! They are willing to give us a 33% discount on a dedicated server. Their 40 player ranked server runs $240. After taking 33% off that leaves $160. We are talking about a NICE server here, too guys. No rinky-dink stuff here. I am talking a server with balls and a phat pipe! See info below.

I know there was interest in purchasing reserved slots so that you are guaranteed a spot on the server whenever you want. To start these slots will be offered at $10 per month. If we get more than 16 people paying then we will reduce the subscription amount accordingly. I am not looking to make any money here (nor am I looking to really spend more than $10 - $30 per month.).

That being said, I have setup a PayPal subscription to sign up for these slots. If we can get 12 people besides myself to sign-up then we can get this sucker up! I have been messaged alot about this so hopefully we get alot of subscribers and can really lower the $10 a month.

What to Expect

Our servers are using at least 2GB of PC2700 DDR Memory with dual-processor AMD Opteron 246's accompanied by ultra-fast SCSI harddrives. Hardware Load Balancing

If we do 3 rounds per map, all maps, I think I might be cool with this setup.
For some reason, my 2.53GHz P4, 1GB RAM, AIW X800XT, takes about 5 minutes to load each map, and then I have a few seconds of lag when I actually get in, so I need to have at least 2 rounds per map to enjoy the game. BTW, my neighbor has a Athlon XP 3000+, 1GB RAM, 9800 Pro and he has the same problems...

I would just have to agree with you on that Peng Lord as for getting into the game i can not tell you let because i have to get it first then install it and go from there.

After soome trouble shooting/investigating, I've discovered that DIMM slot #1 on my 2 month old board is shot (likely from day one, my mistake for missing that one...) tossing that stick into slot #2 makes everything just fly as it should. I'm gonna RMA the board and see what happens, but even a one round setup would work for me, however in the interest of those gamers that don't have super systems, I'll send off my $10 as soon as we get official confirmation of 2 rounds per map minimum. I'm a dork like that, I need to know all of the specifics before I buy.

I have updated the first post to include subscriber's BF2 names so we know who we should and should not kick in order to make room to join.

Alot of people on the PR server don't even know there is a dam PR server and the ones that do don''t always play there.

Any large server like ours needs a large fan backing so if you see someone of Xfire or make a Bf2 post on PR or here then remind them of the I.P and to add us to their favorites.

Since you can add favorites in BF2 patch 1.3 now, so you all know.

I play there when I see some players on our Server.....But when i get on to play (Everyone is just leaving) DAMN
I get on the BF2 at 12:00am to 4:00am Pacific time.
