| Yesterday's announcement that Apple is switching to Intel CPUs was epochal, not only for what it means for Apple architecture going forward, but for what it means to fans of the Power PC and the risks Apple has taken over the years. A lot of people are excited about the prospect of a future Apple without the dark cloud of CPU uncertainty over its head. I like that idea too, but I only wish it had come to fruition through IBM.
