| Search is all the rage these days. Especially desktop search. While both Microsoft and Apple have promised robust search functionality for upcoming versions of their respective operating systems, the search void has recently been filled by a handful of competing applications. In fact, the apps from Google and Yahoo have just recently exited beta status. In this review, we look at five of the main desktop search utilities for Windows in an attempt to separate the wheat from the chaff. How well do they index your hard drive?
