Thanks a bunch! I owe you some rep when I can give it to you. One question though, which indicator is my cpu? I have a bunch. One is called remote and its a toasty 53C which I hope is not the cpu. Thanks again.

LMAO........usually the highest temp is the CPU indicator..............But that's a pretty good tool as it can overclock for you, adjust the speed of your fans and throttle-down your CPU when your not using the processor's full capacity........

When I minimize it the temp is 36 which I would assume is the cpu. Its a comfortable 37.

not good. I have no idea what some of these temps are because they are not labeled.

on most winbond SMBus', temp 1 is the chassis, temp2 is cpu1, i would pay close attention to this as -anything- running 53C in your system needs urgent attention (if that value is accurate, speedfan isnt perfect by no means whatsoever)...

a quick trick you can do to find out wether or not that is your cpu, use the fan control to slow down your fan to about 50% and see which temp jumps up, if you are confused as to which fan is actually slowing down, just try and eyeball the fans to see or hear which one is slowing down...

I think it is because your room is Hot.....Your computer is sucking the hot air from your room into the PC.
Thats just my $0.02.....

Even though I have a good heatsink? I mean its not watercooling but dang that is hot. I can see what you are saying though, it is 84 degrees in my house but still, my NF-7 could handle the heat.

How good is the ventilation in your case????

Do you have an active cooler on the northbridge chip?

What type of video card do you have and what cooler is on it?

I wouldn't worry about melting your chip right now as those chips are good for atleast 85C
My 2800+ oc'd right now at 2.210mhz is at 61C and I'm Folding right now........

Its the aspirex Qpack so ventilation is meh. I have a 6600GT with a stocky. Yes active cooling on the northbridge. I just dont understand what is at 128C... that is an insaine temp. and I hope speed fan is pulling that out of its butt. I wish it labeled what the temps were....

your heatsink will perform about as well as the temperature of the air moving over it, they arent "cooling" elements, they are dissipation, they dont use air to cool off, they use it to remove existing heat by allowing it to transfer to the air and remove the hot air rapidly...now, if the air is already hot before it goes into the heatsink....

Ok the AC is getting turned on tonight and so I'll boot it up and check the temps when it gets chilly. I am still worried about that 128C temp but we'll see what happens. Thanks for all the help guys.

That is an erroneus sensor. My shuttle NF2 board has been running day in out for the past two years with one sensor reading 127C in speedfan. It is simply not real.

My Shuttle NF2 is supported by MBM5 and product specific software, and that reading is not duplicated anywhere. Only speedfan.

If your system is running fine .......... pretty unlikely that any part of it is running at 127C.

I hope that helps.

I think it may be just your sensors myself.............Bring up Speed fan again and hit the "Configue" button, then go to "Temps" and highlight Temp 3..........down at the bottom set your fans to run at 100%..............I'd do it for all the temp settings...........see if that helps

Well they were all set at 100%. Thats good to hear putwig, makes me feel a lot better about this. The cpu is at 50c and I can see why being my room is 85 degrees. I ran prime 95 for a while and the cpu only went up one degree so thats a good sign. I just hope it goes down when the house is cooler. I feel a lot better.
