Rivatuner + Aquamark3???

I've been trying to help a new member Apophis how to OC his graphics card. We tried Omega but Radlink wasn't showing up for him, now we're using rivatuner and he's using an ATI 9200 from Gigabyte. The problem is I don't know the program and he doesn't know how to keep the settings. He is OC'ing from 250/200 to 325/270. It saves until he opens up Aquamark3, then it resets to stock settings. Can anyone help him out?

Am sofar the new valus are stable in win... but i havent ben able to test it in aquamark3 yet as it still resets.

Have you been using a free program called Driver Cleaner after you remove old drivers BTW? sometimes old registry data and old leftover files can booger things up for your new drivers.

There are a few other tools you could try, I like ATI Tool, but there is also Powerstrip..both work very well

I would try removing the Omega driver and clean out the old nasties, then try installing it again..see if it works then.

You can find thes files at Guru3D or Cnet, MajorGeeks, or just Google search it.

A few other tips:

Make sure your motherboard chipset drivers are up to date, you have Directx 9c, along with any other windows updates.

Check "Device Manager" to make sure all your hardware is working properly, if there is a problem it will show a yellow flag (Driver not working, conflicts, etc...)

If you need help with any of these things, or need a beter explination, let us know

ok i got ati tool now

it told me that if my clock speeds keep reseting then its bocorse ive got a driver from ati thats 2 new.
the new drivers auto lock the core speed and memory......

so thats proberly why i couldent get riva turner 2 worlk either....

ill try 2 finde the vertion i need for this 2 worlk ill post l8r when its done...

i now know why it resets, the new ati drivers auto lock the cloak frequincys so my ati driver keeps resiting it.
Only way arunde this problem is 2 get an older driver vertion that dossent suport that aktion....
Only question in how far do i have 2 go back in the vertions :-S ??
and whare can i finde it...
