| Apex Techie Wannabe | Hi... I am looking for a good program with which i can test out all if the parts on the pc i just built. I'm not looking for a benchmark app, but more of an app that tests out the stability and reliability of like, say my hard drive, motherboard, and video card... stuff like that. I have a memory diagnostics thing already, but does anyone know of a good program for testing out the hardware itself, and not necessarily its performance? Of course... one that does both would be nice. Thanks! | |

| PRIME 95, Super PI, Folding @ Home, and MEMTEST will tell you if it is truely 100% stable. (Do a Google search for downloads) For a quick online Diagnostic of your PC (with a Performance test too!) try PC PITSTOP. I use it when I reformat or build a new PC, it shows little things that might be wrong, that most other tests wont show you. (Like if the hard drive is too fragmented, spyware running, or any bottle necks due to configuration, etc...) | ||
