Well here is a pic from the inquirer website that they got from a exhibition. I thought the heatsink and fan combo on my 5900 looked cool. This is the best looking ATI heatsink and fan combo Ive ever seen and it just tied my 5900's for best ive ever seen.

Jeez!

It looks like they took the impeller fan off a jet engine and mounted it on a video card.

if that's the cooling they have on the new core it either runs a lot hotter than every chip they have ever made or they really upped the speed.

From what ive read its gonna be running at 415 core and a little over 700 memory. The fan is only about 60mm.

thats a damn big heatsink. not quite Leafblower (aka GeForce FX) big, but bit none the less. OH that reminds me... some 3rd party is making a blower on a 9800 too.

If thats the one thats being relesaed at Alcatraz for whatever reason and come bundled with HL2 , well then It shall be mine soon.!!!

Yup thats the one being released at Alcatraz but, HL2 has been delayed until the Holiday season so dont plan on seeing it very soon with HL2 bundled. I was looking forward to getting it too

This is what i have found after scouring some HL2 Websites

"My apoligies to those affected by the e-mail that made it's way around news sites in past hours. Unfortunately it was nothing more than a cruel joke. Doug Lombardi sent no such e-mail.

I can assure you there is no such Half-Life 2 delay, and that details regarding the release will be made public in coming days. Expect the tech-demo and SDK to be released on or prior to the 30th.
