Certainly not as irresponsible as starting a thermite reaction in a street next to parked cars

That page covers the safety issues, and also _doesn't_ tell you the correct ratios (without which the reaction won't work), you'd have to be a chemist to work it out from the info they give you.

from what i understand thermite is releatively easy to obtain... hell you could even make it .... all it really is , but we wont say, cause that would be bad for PR and I would never say anything that breaks the rules, cause I'm staff and I care about PR...

I think most all of us fools know HOW to make many fine explosive devises. I don't think we need to swap recipes. We don't need that, because well.. I've already got all the good ones.

you know in my high school chem book it tells you what thermite is and we have some in the chem supply closet at school. its just powdered aluminum, a specific type of iron powder, and magnesisum powder.

Those switches you can pick up for about 9 bucks at your local auto parts store (or at least here you can at Pep Boys).

Gotta get me some thermite...
looks like fun

no PepBoys near me.. they use to sell for buko $$ on mod sites... Probably due to the ammo box mods and what not being popular at the time.. just thought about it as I was watching it for the 50th+ time...
