| Well I've been noticing a change in my internet connection speed for about the past 2 weeks. So I did a bandwidth test to see what was happening. I headed on over to www.bandwidthplace.com and took their speed test. I was averaging 3.1 mbps! And that was constant. I tested it at different hours and it stayed the same. Today I got a letter in the mail saying they had increased our speed to 2 mbps because they wanted to thank us for staying with them through the upgrading period (it was a pain, lots of downtime). So now on my downloads I'm getting a smooth 350 KBps . All at no extra cost baby.So this gets me to my question, what do I need to do to set up an ftp server on my computer? I just want to be able to access my music collection and possibly a couple of reports for easy editing. | ||

| SmartFTP is a great program. It helps you manage upload folders and access any ftp server that you have proper credentials for. I use it for everything ftp. BTW opimum online(what I have) does about 5mps, except they don't let you do ftp. http://www.smartftp.com/ | ||
