Ive always used Norton on my systems. But mostly thats because it was free with the purchase of my mobos and my sis' laptop, so its always been the popular choice

Old fashoned online gaming, reminds me of hearing some kids that hooked up 4 xboxes and LANed them, they thought it was so great, and when i said u could do that with comps since 1994 or earlier, they were like "nuhuh"

Anyways when i have it, i like Norton.

I run Norton on mine. Works fine. If you watch for rebates you can get it for free.

I remember posting in this thread already too. But guess I didn't.

I don't run any antivirus software for 4+ years now, and never got a virus. Since 1995 I've got *1* Virus.

You "didnt" post because the site was kinda iffy for about 45 minutes when GK was updating the site. Check the news, it should explain everything.

I would have gone with Norton, but both copies I got (one from Amazon & one from PC World) had errors on the CDs ... that didn't exactly inspire confidence in me, so I went with McAfee instead, & have stuck with it for several years now.

BUT, when my current licence runs out, I won't renew it & will go with something else - this version {7.02 pro} is just too ropy.

I used to use Norton and was pleased with it even though it was a system hog.
I switched to Panda Antivirus Titanium about 5 months ago and love it even more, and it doesn't hog as many resources as Norton. You can check it out here .

Another vote vor Norton. I use Norton Internet Security here at home, on the laptop, and we use it up at work.

AVG Anti Virus

I like this one. I've had no problems and it's FREE.

My votes with you Lord Dragon, I've been using AVG on my systems for about 3 years now and it has cought everything that has been thrown at it apart from MSBlast (hadnt updated in time to stop it). The big plus is that it is free as well, always good in my book.
