| My problem is, living in the Netherlands, there aren't many people into laser skirmish but we want a way of knowing where people who do play, are. My solution was a website using a map like you have on this website, where people can register their details and they will then appear on this map. It would also be good if parks suited to the game (large woodland areas) could be noted with different coloured markers. I was wondering if such a thing would be complicated to implement? I never got involved in web coding past XHTML and CSS and don't really have time now. Is there not some code that can simply be copied and pasted? I wouldn't be hosting it myself, so maybe the guy who offered would be more capable in this area. I would like to present my idea with some details though - will it be a case of copying code from the googlemap website and linking it to a separately-coded database? | ||

| Javascript knowledge is a must. There is only a bit of CSS involved IIRC. Luckily the documentation is really nice. You can find it here: Google Maps API If you're having trouble i'll try to help you out. | ||
