| If you not self employed...Do you like your boss? My boss for the last four years have been the best I've ever had. I can leave early and come in late, as long as the work it done. We can talk on the phone, go outside and smoke anytime we want. Damn I think I'm lucky :p | ||

| My boss is great, he is a 45 year old version of me and his wife is a 45 year old version of my wife, so we all get along great and we can relate to eachother really well. He doesnt sweat my style at all, but at the same time makes sure i have the proper motivation to work hard. After only 10 months in the office he saw i was struggling a little financially (wife lost her job) so he pushed upper mgt and got me a 25% raise. What a guy! My boss's boss tho, (they are father and son) is what i like to call a "Seagull Boss" He comes in every once in a while, flies all over the building, makes a lot of noise, craps on everything and leaves again and you are standin there wiping poo out of your eyes. he is a pain. but thankfully he isnt my direct supervisor! | ||

| When I was younger I worked at the Same McDonalds as my sister...she was a Manager there. That was the worst three months of my life. I ended up telling her to **** Off and Die in front of a **** load of Customers on on busy evening. I vowed never, never to work with family again. I've also learned my lesson working in the same company as your girlfriend. That's another NO, NO. It's real hard when you break up and have to see her face day in and day out. Eventually we became friends but it is still hard. Damn I'd love to F**k her one more time!!! | ||

| My last job, I had two bosses... they were partners. One could talk for four hours without taking a breath (sometimes eight, and NO I'm not using hyperbole), and the other one was a womanizing, health-nut who told one of the supervisors he wished he wasn't so handsome, because it made women wild around him (he married a bi-sexual, on-line-porn-princess ironically). Sadly, they were probably one of the most adjusted people I've ever worked for (ask me about my old boss who thought he was the next coming of the messiah some time). | ||

| BZA, couldn't tell you, I don't see any of it. Dark, When I was 15 I worked for partners in a Mexican restaurant. It was a Mexican place, located in North Dakota, and both of them were Iranian. I told them to stick their heads up their ass during an employee meeting. Not good for my financial status, but I managed to get a couple of hostesses to date me after that. | ||

| BA. At least you kept your eye on what was important My boss who thought he was the next Messiah was recruiting for a "Harem", was doin' some heavy drugs and thought everyone was out to get him... it would have been funny... if it wasn't so sad (I can't even list him as a reference... I don't know what he'd say!) | ||

| It's only a short time until I'm pounding the streets looking for work again, kind of scary. I look at the skills some of you guys have on this forum and still can't find work, that doesn't make me feel any better. I hear prostitution is growing big in the midwest, is that a career, a job, or a hobby? There are a lot of grain-fed farm girls around here that would be more than willing to pay for a little excitement. Think the wife would object? | ||

| I started working on cars, since I can remember and went to work with my dad when I was 18. Sixteen years later and we are partners in our own auto body shop. Tim is one of the employees and he worked with us for about six years before the last business we all worked at lost it's lease and went under, still with us and says he would never quit. Actually he has polished and rubbed three '35 Fords and a '32 Ford over the last four days. gets paid commission, so he can work at his own pace. My dad is the best, no stress, good pay and hell we get paid to do what we love. get paid to build a '40 Ford...... hmmmm tough one. I think "my Boss" kicks ass, we built race cars together and drag raced for years, go salmon fishing and can still work and get along. No time clocks, no structured breaks, all commission and the jobs are a blast. Remember I get paid to paint and build cars and computers...... does it get any better? I wish I had a bigger shop I would want everyone to work at a job like this..... except DW | ||
