Does it work with the 'Now Player' feature in Live Messenger?

EDIT: Downloaded. Looks pretty cool, although every time I load it up it forgets everything I told it to import... and switches back to its default screen position... annoying.

I know its only a dev preview, any ETA on a solid release?

True that....especially true when you look at the dev screenshots taken on a Mac. It looks basically identical.

Foobar2000. Tiny memory footprint, nearly unlimited customizability.

I used songbird once and didn't think much. I might give it another try in the future

iTunes is getting ridiculous now - if you flick through your album artwork for a bit it can go up to using 400mb or even more of RAM - wtf?!?!? SYTEM HOG!!! Apple really needs to sort it out.

They need an iTunes lite...

I love the smart playlists and the way you can sort your music... but... I dont need the equilizers, videoplayback, album art, visualiser, etc...

edit: I want one!

I have been using songbird for a few weeks and I love it. It's even integrated with online stores like eMusic via the built-in browser.

I've been waiting for the Windows version so I can see how it does with my music player

Sorry to put it bluntly but we were just wondering and are looking forward to future developments with SongBird.

Thanks,

I downloaded the latest "nightly build" for windows, and it's pretty decent. I feel like the performance is a tad better under Linux, but who knows. So far it's stable. I like the miniplayer.

In OS X its pretty awesome. I need to compare it to Itunes though. I think the memory footprint is smaller.

Wow maybe not... they need to slim it down some but I will still prefer song bird over itunes.
