Stupid thieves

As soon as they plug the box into the Sony Live network [or whatever it's called] the serial numbers [which GameStop has already reported stolen] are going to download their IP and hence their location.

They so busted.

That or the network will just sedn kill commands to the machines, whoever gets sold these machines might as well have burnt there money for all the good its do them.

Is the Sony Network thing automatic?

Well, regardless they're still screwed. Even if they try to sell the HotBox the Seller could just report them after it dies.
