Just got my license today!!

Yea I passed, I did everything right, they did say I was driving to slow but it was only because I was nervous.
Its great and all but I dont have a car to drive....... Buy meh I got my license!

Lucky, I'm 18 and dont have my license, and wont get it for a couple a weeks.

It is funny to think that we where all there at one time learning this, makes me wish i could go back in time to do it all over again. I had lots of fun growing up except i wished i could change a few things now that i did when i was there ages.

I live in Jersey and am therefore subject to the cinderella licence, and permit crap. As someone who semirecently experienced the same thing you have, I say, that there are two kinds of driving, the kind with a parent/adult, and driving alone. These two are whole other experiences.

what are this cinderella license?

I cant drive with any of my friends only by myself or with someone with a license over 25 fo the first 6 months. And I had to have my permit for 6 months and 30 hours of class O yea and 6 hours with a driving teacher or whatever you call them

Pretty much refers to the period between 17 and 18, when you pass your driving exam, can only drive with one non residence sharing person from the hours of like 6AM to Midnight.

same here, I also just found out that i cant drive my friends for a year, but hey I didnt get my license to be drving them around!

Your better off that way so they do not get you nervous and drive you insane saying that is not the way you are suppose to drive, you know how back seat drivers our unless they have a lot more experience then you have or your parents.

Congratulations! Now you can drive your folks crazy with worry like my eldest does to me now. I've got to admit though, he is a pretty safe driver. I'm in the process of teaching my 15 year old to drive now.

Funny thing is I never got a civilian driver's license until I was 20 and had already spent 3 years in the Army. Started driving on my own at 11, had my first car at 14, but didn't get a license until 20. Things aren't done today like they used to be.
