i saw the great satan's post on the shutdown shortcut, and it reminded me of the desktop short cut, which is naturally on the quick launch bar

ive decided to show you all how to remake it

create a notepad document containing the following coding

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

then save this as Desktop.scf to the desktop, the name can be changed but it needs to have the .scf extension

if you dont know how to change the extension, you need to toggle the option to hide extensions for known file types, which you can find when you open a folder in explorer, under Tools>Folder Options>View

now, you can just drag this shortcut into your quick launch bar, but if youre like me, you'll enjoy having a nearly useless shortcut

(if you dont understand why its useless, its a shortcut on the desktop to show the desktop)

Ctrl + Escape or Win: Display start menu.

Alt + Tab: Display CoolSwitch. More commonly known as the AltTab dialog.
Alt + Shift + Tab: Display CoolSwitch; go in reverse.
Alt + Escape: Send active window to the bottom of the z-order.
Alt + Shift + Escape: Activate the window at the bottom of the z-order.
Alt + F4: Close active window; or, if all windows are closed, open shutdown dialog.
Shift while a CD is loading: Bypass AutoPlay.
Ctrl + Alt + Delete or Ctrl + Alt + NumpadDel (Both NumLock states): Invoke the Task Manager or NT Security dialog.
Ctrl + Shift + Escape (XP Only): Invoke the task manager. On earlier OSes, acts like Ctrl + Escape.
F6: Cycle through screen elements. Testing on this was inconclusive; I'd appreciate someone doing extensive testing on this under various circumstances, and posting the results.
Printscreen: Copy screenshot of current screen to clipboard.
Alt + Printscreen: Copy screenshot of current active window to clipboard.



and to kill the recyclebin.... open regedit.. and delete this key
