| for about 30 hours we had no power. at first it was'nt that bad, I had about 4 hours of laptop power, however, all things must come to a end. when my laptop power dropped I watched TV untill it was time for bed, in the morning I found the power still had'nt been restored and my tv's batteries were dead. so I spent the rest of the day on my palm piolet and listening to the radio. | ||

| Kayin is a hippie! Kayin is a hippie! Just kidding man... That's...bad. I don't know, I get pissy when the power's out for an hour. One night, I came home from work, and the power was out. You know how you get into habits though, and you just aren't thinking. You walk down the hall, and flip the light switch, and you're thinking to yourself "son of a gun, this just isn't my day"...and then, you realise that the power is out... | ||

| what is really weird about Florida, is we could have a 300 mph F-5 tornado bearing down on our house, cars flying everywhere and trees being uprooted, at least I could still surf PimpRig while my roof is being torn off. But it could be broad daylight with no clouds in the sky and power just goes out like that, my parents old rig got zapped by lightning in broad daylight, no clouds or nothing, fried it so bad it blew the covers off some of the chipsets and exposed the circuits and little wafer chips inside. 300th post w00t! | ||

| Feel for your outtage guys, but last winter's ice storm here in Lexington Ky. left alot of the population without power, heat or phones for over 10 days. Try burying coolers of frozen foods in snow banks trying to save it from going bad, and avoiding fist fights at the limited kerosene pumps. No offense but alot of the news coverage of reporters talking with NY residents I found slightly comical. ![]() | ||

| Yeah Jinx, we had a big ice storm a couple years back. No power for a week. Luckily we had a wood stove, and had a generator to power the fridge. But those cold showers were lots of fun. I've got a crazy idea, whenever the power goes out you can go to a magical place alot of you pimps could stand to visit. It's called OUTSIDE. Go get some sun you pasty skinned computer geeks! ![]() | ||
