Leaving in 3 hours.

Well Guys it is 652 am on saturday here in England and we are leaving in 3 hours to come home. We are making a flight change in D.C. and then heading to Pope AFB in Fayetteville NC. Woo hoo will be home soon. I think it is cool the army supplied us with a charter 747 so we can ride comfortable. Unfortunatly we have to make a pit stop in D.C and will be fully armed walking through the airport. I can't wait to see everyones faces seing about 200 army guys walking through an airport with weapons and gear. Atleast we don't have to go through customs or metal detectors.. Can't wait to get back late sunday night early monday morning. See you guys when I get back.

Welcome back! We are all very thankfull for outsanding job you boys are doin over there! In the Air Force (Jet Eng Mech) our Squadren trained for deployment to the Gulf area from 85-89.
That was at the end of the cold war, and we never thought back then we would never realy ever end up actually fighting in the middle east. They had no Military to speak of, Russia was the bad guy back then.
I had to train in Chem Warfare gear down in Georgia, was 90+ all summer, so I can only imagine how it must have been out in the desert

I can't thank our boy's in the Military enough, GREAT JOB
