I go to Clarkson University in Potsdam New York. There is nothing much to do accept for party till 5 am or head to Canada to party more.

Most fun we had in college was with the guy who headed facilities. He was always ripping up perfectly good sidewalks and adding brick so they'd be brick concrete brick concrete.

Sidewalks were always closed due to construction - it was just inconvienent. Yes it was pretty but wasteful. Revenge was called for.

So there was always brick palettes laying around, concrete stuff, sledgehammers for busting up the concrete.

So one weekend we built a two-foot high brick wall around his reserved parking spot. And physical plant thought 'no problem - knock it down with a frontend loader' - until they discovered we put rebar two feet into the asphalt first. They spent all day with welding gear cutting it out.

Now THAT is college fun.

gawd i cant wait to get to college, i toured 4 colleges this week, on a 2600 mile road trip. it just made me wanna jump rite in, but im stuck at high skool for 1 more year. oh well, ill party hard when i get there! hehe

Georgia Tech is my alma mater - we like to build stuff ....

Never touched it in my entire life.

Remember it took a dorm full of guys an entire weekend of procuring campus brick, rebar, concrete, and sledgehammers.

Pounding rebar through asphalt hurts! Someone had sharpened the ends on a bench grinder but it was still tough. and ya gotta wear gloves if you're the holder or the rebar will rip your skin bad we discovered early on.

We had guys on roofs with walkie-talkies so we knew when the cops were about to drive by so we could all duck into the AFROTC study room and hope they didn't notice our handiwork in progress. Bunch of civilians in the AFROTC room late at night covered in sweat, concrete dust and holding sledgehammers might have been difficult to explain .... to our parents.

I'm not saying don't ... I'm just saying....

Slick: What were you @ FSU for and what dorm? I have spent many many nights there (all my friends go there and I have done a few programs there too)

When I was @ FSU we did tideslides in the hall (pour tide all over hall and bust out the fire hoses and get it all slippery, then get the girls upstairs to slide down those in their undies ) lots of fun...

at my first Northern college experience, on the first night of snow, we built like 10 7' tall snow *****'s (see here)

We also like to run decoy every friday night and take backpacks full of books (but looking like 30 racks of beer) and run around campus trying to get cops to stop us and look in our backpacks (they do this to catch the kids sneeking beer into dorms They are usualyl shocked to see bibles!
