When I went to PA I notice that none of the public toilets had toilet seat liners, you know those little paper things that go on top, I had to use toilet paper, The only one I seen was at dennys and it was empty and it looked like someone smashed it in with a crowbar or something. I have been to bathrooms in Cali and NV 99% of then have toilet liners.

So i was wondering is it like that in all east coast states.

Its hit or miss.

It was just a culture shock going over there, not to sound rasist or anything but there are only white and black people there and its so slow there, its really different than califonia.

PA is to cheap to afford toilet covers, we have to pay our wortless road works to stand around and watch the potholes get bigger.

Yea the resturants dont nessesarily need them, most costomers in the place are regulars and if they really have to go, i mean then they do, where i work ( a resturant like denny's) our bus persons clean the resturooms on a schedule like 6 times a day, a full wipe of all surfaces, they clean the mirror, and they wash the toliets, so really i feel that we wouldnt need any liners, but at a italian resturant i worked at they had them but they were alwqays busy, really its just whoever feels the need to buy them for there place

I from around the pittsburgh area, and there are alot of slow days at our resturant, just about everyday theres only one cook, and thre-5 waitresses, and on sunday (where mcdonalds gets busier than us) we have 2 cooks and like 7 waitresses, the place can hold around 100 people, and on sundays we have a line, but still slow all the time

I always wondered who in the heck used those things. Now I know.

s1ugh34d what part of pittsburgh, i love the south side, i like all the little shop they have their, i want to school at PTI(it was at the campus near the airport ) out that way was crazy, and downtown was anything but slow, i like pittsburgh.

Its not as weird as you might think...I have one employee that always covers the seat...I told him that was more info than I wanted to here. Now I stock assgaskets for one employee?!

The beach I work at has them in the ladies room. Their side is always filthy. Depending on where you arei n PA it can be slow. NY and NJ are as fast paced as So Cal just less smog and traffic.

I don't know of many places around here in TN that doesn't have one, some of the non-chain resteraunts don't have them, but all retail chains and food chains have them.

that's wierd to not have them, here it is law in every single stall in every single place. THeres no WAY IN HELL I would use a public crapper without a paper cover on it,*shivers*.
HAHA, whenever I have to use one which I try like hell not to I always throw like five of them on there , hahaha.

Funny u should meation ass gaskets. I saw a thing on tv a week or so ago that said the toilet seat is cleaner than the ice at fast food resturants.

Funny you should mention that too, mythbusters did that myth, and, infact, the toilet seat is the cleanest part of your house (your tooth brush has more bacteria than the toilet seat) Also, a dog's mouth is cleaner than your's too.

Swickley, but I was in pistburg a few times and I went to Kennywood (omg that place is small!!) also I didnt mean slow as in dumb, I mean people seem more laid back there, Being there kinda depressed me.

My Grandfather owns 40 acres on top of a hill there and he lives like a hill billy

PS: why in the hell do they do so much road work there, we have like 20 times as much traffic here and 20 times less road work, mabey its because it goes from hot to cold hot to cold and here its just warm hot warm hot

Ass Gaskets, lol. I live and work in the beautiful country parts of NJ (thatÂ’s right, they exist, so get over the whole NJ Turnpike stereo type image). But ass gaskets,? They donÂ’t have them anywhere around here. My point is is that the only way IÂ’d use a public restroom is if I decided that walking around with shat dripping from my trousers is unacceptable. Hey just do what I doÂ…. hover and GetÂ’her Done!

I don't use public restrooms unless it is life or death. Even at that rate if ass gaskets are not available I have been know to steal some paper towels and soap from the sink and personally sanitize the seat before using it.

ok, i just wanted to make sure about the slow part, but i lived in FL for a 1year and a half, now those people are laid back. when i want down their it was a culture shock for me.

yea kennywood is small. but it is not that bad of a place, but nothing bets cedar point, and six flags

i don't know why they do so much road work and get so little done. they should not have to do much road work, due to they use a custom made type of a concrete, etc for the road that is a post to stop potholes and cracks. but it does not work to while
driving in PA you need a 4 wheel drive truck to get to point "A" to point "B"

most places around here have them.
Ive actually grabbed a can o lysol from the store shelf and cleaned the throne in a gas station.

But if your a guy you've got to remember to drape a strip of TP down the front of the toilet bowl.

I knew the dog part but the seat being cleaner than anything else ????????????????

I will never be the same man again after reading that and ya from now on I can't help but look at a toiletseat with a different perspective.
