| The website is www.carmd.com. It's a handheld device that does diagnostic checks of your vehicle if it is 96 or later. I've seen products like this advertised before, but they always cost a few hundred bucks. I'm thinking of scoring one of these since two of my vehicles are 96 and are now getting some serious mileage on them. | ||

| Can't you just head to AutoZone, etc and have them check diagnostic codes for you for free? It seems like that's what it does, just a little more user friendly. Just around $90, might be a good buy. Pulled up some previews and first looks, but no reviews on it. | ||

| No I haven't seen it either, but it looks like it just pulls codes from your history file and then when you upload them, it gives you the corrective action. (Malfunctioning EGR, O2 sensors, AF ratio out of normal range, etc..) We had something similar at GM called the Tech II, but it was self contained, and pretty damn expensive. Do you have any check engine lights on now? | ||

| Solid... Yep, the Frau's Caravan check engine light came on. If it is something simple, I could do it myself. My son's Plymouth Breeze has over 100K on it so it could be handy on his car also. MC... I make a lot of purchases through JC Whitney, could you suggest one or two for me to look at that isn't too expensive? I saw some on eBay that were inexpensive but I want one that works good and gives me a definitive diagnosis. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for one that interfaces with a laptop that allows me to upload code as well. | ||
