| Soo,My mobo went out and I RMA'd it to asus. Today It arrived and the paperwork said it tested fine !!! So Im thinking thats odd cause I tested every single component in seperate systems and thayre all good. Then I open the box and its NOT my mobo !!! Its all dusty and dirty and all the white sockets are stained a dirty yellow brown color. totally different revision #'s too. They sent me someones used, refurbished , scanky board. And it even smells burned !!! Just great, thanks ASSus. Ive just been converted to DFI. | ||

| I can't talk bad about ASUS. When I built this machine, I had some "NOOB" issues and the tech guy was great. It was fairly late and he gave me his cell number to call if I needed anything else. About 30 minutes later, a supervisor called to verify my happiness with their services. I was impressed! A couple of weeks later I had the same issue re-occurr and I had a jerk tech guy on the line, but he did help solve the issue. Best of all, it was free! Can't say that for Microsoft. I pay $200.00 for their OS and have to pay for assistance. I paid ASUS $150 and got the world. They probably got the packages screwed up. If I screamed at my warehouse guys for their "internal service", I wouldn't do anything but scream at them 8 hours a day. Hopefully it was a fluke. | ||

| I would give Asus another chance. Have you contacted them about the problem? If so, what did they say? I had to RMA an Asus mobo a while back, and had no problems. And keep in mind, the person you email or call is not the one that sent you the mobo, so let them know you are VERY upset, but keep your cool and be polite. And if you feel you are not getting anywhere with who you are talking to, ask to speak to their supervisor. Good luck. E | ||

| I'm actually dealing with an RMA with ASUS right now for my DVD drive, so we'll see how that goes. I had to RMA a burner to ASUS earlier this year, and things were fast and professional. Since they couldn'f fix my burner, they sent me a new one, in retail packaging even. I'd give them a call and see what happened, probably just a mix up somewhere. | ||
