| I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-P72 3.2 Mega Pixels this might sound like a noob and stupid question coming from me, it seem i have lost my manual to the camera i have and so i was wondering if anyone knows how i can take nite time shots with out having to have the flash on, what i am trying to do is take shots of my pc's at night just showing of my lights from the pc, but every time i take a picture the camera seems to flash and makes it take a picture just like it is daytime. | ||

| Press the button that looks like a lightning bolt, there probably are different modes of flash, so just push the button to cycle through them and on the screen it should come up with a lightning bolt with a line through it, this is flash off. | ||

| If it is a flip up flash just dont flip it up that is how mine works.I am sure there is a setting to turn the flash off. On most Digital ones there is a button that changes the flash settings, it looks like a lightning bolt. | ||

| I have a DSC-S60 and theres a mode for night shots. The symbol is a moon. You just have to look through the menus. The camera also has to be very still for the second it takes to take the picture. A table or a tripod is best. Here's an example of a pic that I took with that mode. The resizing kind of took away alot of the quality. | ||
