My Father took me to see this movie in 1976 before "Star Wars" was ever on the map, and it realy blew me away...

I ended up reading the book, and the sequal William F Nolan wrote later...I would realy liked to have seen the orignal cast make that back then!

I was also a fan of the TV show, I was just 10 years old then and I didn't see all the bad acting and cheasy plot lines...it was good kids show though, it always tried to teach some kind of moral lesson at a basic level without insulting a budding mind like so many other "Kids" shows of that era did.

Anyways, I have kept up with the news of a remake, and it all seemed like it was going no where from info at "Vickis City of Domes"

This is very good news, at least it's still being talked about, I had kinda given up..let's hope they do the origanal justice, and not destroy it like so many other remakes tend to do!

man i berly remember the tv-show because a was to young but my brother (wich he's 6 years older then i) was watching the serie with my dad in those days.

only later when i was 24 yrs old that i saw the movie on tv & liked it alot i've got the movie on DVD now & so far i've got one episode of the series still waiting for the others the get at 100% if you know what i mean
