Default New spam I got today...

Now I only bring this up because of another one of their ads I saw, where they were saying that you could install windows on the mac now.

In my experience, the cause of most crashes is software (OS, Drivers, Etc... not including extreme overclock errors) not hardware, so how can they claim that they are any better?

They are just trying to appeal to new users and/or PC users who have had bad experiences... any well educated PC user knows those new Mac commercials are generally crap... but they sure are funny.

I got that one too. I was like, "Wtf? I've never had any of those problems... And definatly not C, because it's an LCD, and they are expensive..." Ok, so I lied, my computer crashes every now and then, but it's few and far between (usually no more than once every 8 or so months, and it's my own fault when it does, aka, F@H, OCing, etc...)

Spam sucks.

No kidding... and what always amazes me is that there are countless idiots out there that think the screen/mouse/keyboard has anything to do with why your machine is locked up.

I have to admit...these ads scare me.

Recently on a journey through some Mac forums (hey, I was doing research on power usage...I swear) one guy was arguing that his otherwise very intelligent father had nothing but issues with his PC. Once he got him onto a Mac, now his Dad can email to his heart's content.

My question is: How much easier do we want to make forwarding spam for people that know nothing about CC: and BCC: ?

Youve got to be kidding me.

As for the question- Nope, Not at all. Only happens if I Overclock too much or if I install linux on the same partition that windows is on.

They are getting annoying and scary, and now some websites have them as Videos..Which really slows the page down...Oh god forbid, if PCapex starts getting those ads were all screwed.

In the past 30 days on your PC have you:

A. Had a selection of more than breakout and super breakout to play? (RvB joke)
B. Been able to decide for yourself what kind of case, peripherals and internal parts your machine will have?
C. OC'ed your machine?
D. All of the above?

Yes, those commericials are strange and creepy.

maybe because MACs crash just as often ....

try opening Final Cut Pro, DVD studio pro, and photoshop at the same time on a MAC
now go to any pc and open premiere, photoshop, and encore .... and see what happens

Well I dont have Final Cut Pro. But I have opened a DVD ripper, firefox, and photoshop and it ran slower than normal but was still pretty fast and didnt crash, I had my macbook for almost 3 months and it hasnt crashed once, the worst I had was when a shut down timed out, all I needed to do is click shut down agian it it was fine.

Hmm well I will say this XP may crash occasionally(gennerally only if its mis used) but from my experiance with Windows Vista I can say that I never once experianced a BSOD. Now yes programs crashed but Vista did an amazing job of containg the crashes to just the application. I used for 2-3 weeks with nary a serious problem. And its in Beta.

P.S If you really want to have fun go into a mac store during prime time and crash one of the macs.

Since when is simple a bad thing? PC users main complaint is that Macs are to simple

PC User: Mac OS is overly simple, I like having to do ten times the work to do the same thing I could on a mac in 2 clicks.

Mac os for example one requires you do drag and drop programs, if you need to delete a program, just drag it to the trash, on the PC you have to go through 5-7 windows that ask you all the same thing "Are you sure you want to delete this program?". On a mac pretty much all the software a average computer user will need comes installed on it, On a PC you get a bunch of trials and if your lucky you get Microsoft Office. On a Mac if you really need a program that only runs on windows, just instal windows. On PC if you need a Mac program your screwed.

Im a PC user and a mac user, and know.
