I know the header isn't there, but it is still worth seeing!

Though I haven't been here since Pimprig was founded, it's obvious both it and technology have grown significantly since it was founded in 2001. If you scroll down on the home page, you can see a link to a review for a Geforce 3 video card!

Dang, back then I thought you had to buy a computer, not build one! It is crazy how technology changes. Looks like Intell may have a quad core CPU next year. System RAM is in the GHz, not MGz any more (more or less).

I blame it all on all these dang kids with there 'Rap' music! Ahh well I blame the beer cans in my yard on that actually!

I still remember having a tape recorder hooked up to the computer to load your programs. And I upgraded my computer from 4K to 8K RAM. Showing my age there!

I remeber i got my case that year, it had a window, and a XP 2200 that only came out a month before, it had a geforce2 mx 440 and it couldnt have been any better, even had AGP 8x whew the power that once was,and to think AGP is almost unheard of, but it was a heck of an upgrade from my socket 370, 566MHz P3 comcrap, which now hold my WC setup

? The 2200XP didn't come out until late '03.....Who were your contacts?

I guess you did. But this thread is different because it is about how much PCApex and technology have changed over the past 5 years, not necessarily the Internet Arhive and definately not about other website home pages from the past.
