Wink Favorite OLD movie? (pre-60's)

So my girlfriend has lived in Shanghai for the first 14 years of her life and hasn't seen many of the "classics" so I was wondering if I could get everyone's help to make a list. Please include a category that the film falls into as well as a brief synopsis. If you would like, include why you liked it. (funny/so bad it's funny films are welcome!)

My list (soon to grow as I think)
*Horror*
Forbiddin Planet
Birds
War of the Worlds
Night of the Living Dead
Blob

*So Bad its funny*
Plan 9 from Outer space

*Comedy*
Charlie Chaplin's "Little Dictator"

Night of the Hunter (1955) with Robert Mitchum, Shelley Winters

I did a study of this movie for a class. Excellant

Nosferatu (1922) - The very first dracula movie. Silent but people ran out of the theatre

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) - a somnambulist, with his deadly predictions

Anyone that has seen these or decides to watch them Pls let me know what you think. They are must see's

Apparently you like Expressionist films

I rented Nosferatu ages ago but never got around to watching it. They show it every Halloween at my school though. We watched Dr. Caligari in my film class though. Fantastic.
