| Banned | Well, I got my first job, and it happened to be with my dad in Heating and Cooling, Shetter Heating and Cooling is my dad's companies name, named after our family. It was sorta an early Father's Day pres, I told him I wanted a job and that I wanted to work for him, he was pretty proud of me .Well, I worked my ass off for two days straight, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and got my first paycheck .Its not really an actual employment, as he just pays me depending on how hard I work, but I managed to hual in 150$, as I already have experience working with him a couple random times, but I was little, now he has me doing everything from hualing in Air units to soldering Line sets. Its tough work, well, I think it is. Anyways, I'm gonna get an lcd, I have 2 choices: First, I love widescreen, it jsut looks freakin cool, and I love playing games in widescreen on my buds new Dell 1710 (yah, rich ass parents). So I like this one, and I can get it right now. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116373 Second, I game, alot, mostly just cs:s, and some f.e.a.r. every once in ahwile, which is why I picked this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116375 BUT, I cant afford it just yet, little more work. I want to know if the 2ms response time over the 8ms repsone time, is going to really be anything to care about. I'm not sure what the refresh rate on my freinds Dell 1710 is, but its nice, and I'm pretty sure they dont have 2ms widescreen lcd's. | |

| Don't quote me on this, but I've read that the 2ms second response time is completely unnoticeable against an LCD with an 8ms response time. It appears to just be a marketing gimmick, with no real world implications. However, the LCD connoisseurs among us may beg to differ. Personally, I cant tell the difference between my wide screen at 8ms and my mates Dell with 12Ms... | ||

| This one. I love newegg for most things, but you can do better on monitors elsewhere. Tiger also has the Viewsonic 1912 you're looking at for $40 dollars less. I have a 8ms Hyundai L90D+ (same screen as Samsung if your wondering about quality) and I never see any ghosting whatsoever. In your shoes, I'd go for the bargain, you pay too much of a premium for 2ms right now. | ||
